About the event

Join us for “Sacred Process: An Interactive Exploration of Kosher Ritual Slaughter" where participants will witness and engage in the process of shchitah - kosher slaughtering. Under the guidance of a skilled Shochet (certified kosher slaughterer) and experienced facilitators, three sheep raised by Jewish farmer Suzanna Goldblatt-Clark will be humanely processed, ensuring respect for tradition and animal welfare. If all goes to plan, the meat will be served during the main conference. This unique experience promises to deepen your understanding of kosher slaughter in a supportive and educational environment.

Space is limited to just 25 participants. You must be already registered for our 4-day "Cultivating Culture" conference to participate in this add on.

Sliding scale fee includes lunch: $72/$180/$360

Please note the program will take place in a barn and outdoor area with limited insulation. We plan to have a warming station (either fire ore indoor heated area) for folks to…
